Being a content creator involves a lot of patience and organization, and even with all of the technology and tools we have at our disposal, it’s not enough. Luckily for us, there are a ton of great Google Chrome extensions out there that can help streamline your process and boost productivity & creativeness.

0. OneTab

As a content marketer-and, a digital marketer as a whole-you knows how tab-heavy your browsers can get. There are times when Google Chrome is taking up 75% of my battery usage and my laptop sounds like it’s going to explode because of all the memory I’m using from my open tabs on Chrome.

Well, OneTab is here to solve all of your tab and memory issues. OneTab keeps a running list of all of your tabs' sources and keeps them all in one neat little list. This not only helps to keep your browser organized, but it also cuts down on the amount of memory that Google Chrome is sucking up, which also helps save battery life.

Best of all, you can create different lists within OneTab for the different projects that you’re working on. Use this tool to stay organized.

1. Grammarly

As a content creator, you’re consistently working with-you guessed it, content. And whether that content is for yourself or a client, you need to make sure that it has the correct grammar and sentence structure, which is where the Grammarly extension comes in handy.

Grammarly can be used on any content piece, from blog posts and articles to newsletters and social media posts. Additionally, Grammarly is compatible with a ton of different sites, including Gmail, Yahoo Mail, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr, WordPress, LinkedIn, and more.

Deploy Grammarly and stop making that small grammar mistakes-you’re better than that.

2. RiteTag

RiteTag is the perfect Chrome extension for content marketers who are pushing their content on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Look, we all get caught up in hashtags, and sometimes we’re so caught up that we don’t know which ones to use; that’s where RiteTag comes in.

RiteTag can read your social media posts and then suggest the best hashtags to complement the content of the post. Once a hashtag is selected, the extension will then provide real-time analytics on the hashtag, providing marketers with key data points like how many views per hour the hashtag gets, or how many retweets per hour tweets receive with the hashtag in it.

The extension also works on images and GIFs as well, so you’ll always have the right hashtags and images to make sure you’re getting the most out of your social media posts.

3. DrumUp

DrumUp dubs itself as the World’s #1 Social Media and Content Marketing App, and after using it for a couple of weeks, I think you’ll agree. It’s a social management and content creation tool all in one, crawling content across the web and then recommending recent content for social.

Once the content is crawled, all you need to do is click the DrumUp extension and it’ll show you up to 10 article recommendations that can be shared to social media right through your Chrome browser-it doesn’t get much easier than that. On top of it all, DrumUp also acts as a social media scheduler, allowing you to schedule your social posts to go live at a specific time.

DrumUp also has a great blog that provides tips on everything from Facebook posting best practices to tips for social media content for eCommerce companies.

4. Meldium

Nothing’s more annoying than having to constantly log in and out of the different websites and Internet applications that we as content marketers are always using, and luckily with the help of Meldium, we don’t have to.

Meldium is a password management tool that stores the usernames and passwords to any website you want, and best of all, it’ll automatically log you into those websites without ever having to touch the keyboard.

One of the best things about Meldium is that it streamlines new employee onboarding, automatically creating them an account and giving them access to whatever platforms you want them to have.
